Votes are pouring in – who will take home the Global Youth Travel Awards?

The competition is heating up for WYSE Travel Confederation members competing for a coveted consumer-voted Global Youth Travel Award (GYTA). The awards recognise outstanding performers in the youth travel industry. There are four categories in which the winners are chosen by consumers. The Global Youth Travel Awards are open to both WYSE Travel Confederation members and non-members. Thousands of voteawards for the GYTAs have already been tallied. Here are the frontrunners for each category, in no particular order:

Best Youth Tour Operator: Bus2Alps, ISX Canada, MedSailors, Rustic Pathways, Topdeck
Best Youth Travel Agent: Flight Centre, STA Travel, International Working Holidays, StudentUniverse, Smaller Earth
Best Youth Travel Airline: Air Canada, Qantas, Ryanair, Emirates, Vueling
Best Youth Travel Accommodation: Jucy Snooze, HI USA, Meininger, YHA New Zealand, Generator Hostels

There is still time for businesses to participate and for those already involved to step up their award campaigns. Votes will be counted through 21 August 2017, while applications for the nominated categories will close on 7 August. The winners will be formally honoured at the Global Youth Travel Awards ceremony during the 2017 World Youth and Student Travel Conference, which takes place 26-29 September in Montréal.
