Smaller Earth, a member of WYSE Travel Confederation and sector associations WYSE Work and Volunteer Abroad and IAPA, has revealed an overhaul of its brand and website as it aims to lead its industry in design and user experience.
The company, established in 2009 and based in Liverpool, has brought a fresh feel and user experience to the heart of its site, which features a number of work abroad programmes, au pair jobs, volunteer abroad opportunities and group trips.
Christopher Coventry, Smaller Earth’s Brand Manager, said: “It’s more important than ever for our users to be able to find the right work abroad and travel opportunities to suit their needs in the easiest and fastest way possible. Our focus for the new site is ease of use in any situation, including mobile and tablet.”
Having once sported a dark purple and grey as its core colours, the company have since switched to much brighter options, including neon blues and pastel pinks in order to stand in greater relevance with their core demographic.
Christopher added: “Our old branding was suitable for when we first launched the Smaller Earth brand, but as its grown, we felt it was important for its image to grow with it.
The new colours and visuals were chosen to inject more power into the brand. Our 18-30 year old travellers are looking for a fun adventure abroad, so we felt it necessary to create something that’s fun, engaging and packs a punch.”
