WYSE Travel Confederation and sector association STAY WYSE extend a very warm welcome to new member MEININGER Hotels.

MEININGER Hotels opened the doors to their first hotel in Berlin in 1999, offering an innovative design and a unique hotel experience. Since then, the MEININGER Hotel concept has proven popular with guests from across the world.

There are currently sixteen MEININGER hotels in Europe with a total of over 7,000 beds across ten European cities, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, London, Munich, Salzburg and Vienna. Part of the Fonciere des Regions Holidaybreak group, MEININGER Hotels has big keen plans to expand further across key European cites over the next 5 years, and is looking to invest in cities from Copenhagen to Madrid, Istanbul to St Petersburg.

MEININGER Hotels provides the service and comfort of an international budget hotel with a combination of regular and dormitory-style rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each hotel is tailored and adapted to the particular target market the hotel is catering for based on its specific location.

The unique layout and design of a MEININGER hotel enables it to cater equally to school groups, families, individual travellers and corporate guests alike. In central locations with modern high quality furnishings, and facilities including guest kitchens and game zones, MEININGER has a distinct good value appeal.

MEININGER currently has over 1 million youth travel nights per year and is looking forward to working with WYSE Travel Confederation and its members to increasingly provide high quality budget accommodation to the youth, student and educational travel industry.

You can also follow MEININGER Hotels on TwitterFacebook, Instagram and the Meininger blog.
