Presenter

Greg Richards is Professor of Leisure Studies at the University of Tilburg and Professor of Events at Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.

Greg RichardsHe has worked on projects for the UNWTO, the OECD, numerous national governments, national tourism organisations and municipalities, and he has extensive experience in tourism research and education, with previous posts at London Metropolitan University (UK), Universitat Roviria I Virgili, Tarragona (Spain) and the University of the West of England (Bristol, UK).

Professor Richards has been involved with the youth travel research programme of WYSE Travel Confederation since 2000. He has conducted numerous studies of youth travel, accommodation, work experience and the cultural effects of travel experiences. He has published a range of major reports and publications on youth travel and has spoken widely at global conferences on the subject.
