Why WYSE Travel Confederation?
Have you ever thought about how youth travel came into being? In the aftermath of World War II, our founding organisations realised that young travellers could play a valuable role in fostering international understanding and cultural exchange in the global environment.
Since then, the organisations that have evolved to become WYSE Travel Confederation, have remained passionate and committed to this concept of youth travel, promoting and developing opportunities for young people to travel, work, study and volunteer abroad, both for their personal gain and for the community benefit.
Today, youth travel is one of the fastest growing segments of the travel industry, worth some USD 250 billion per year and growing. Working for WYSE Travel Confederation and its sector associations gives you the opportunity to work in the heart of this dynamic industry. Our not-for-profit membership based organisation is the world’s most powerful network of youth, student and educational travel businesses, collectively serving 30 million young travellers worldwide each year.
We are an Affiliate Member of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and holds consultative status with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). When you work for WYSE, you work for youth travel.
