We are pleased to announce that Paschal Donohoe TD, Ireland’s recently appointed Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, will officially open this September’s WYSTC 2014 in Dublin.
Mr Carlos Vogeler, UNWTO’s Director-Executive Secretary of Members Relations and Regional Director for the Americas (pictured below right) will also address the delegation during the opening session, along with David Chapman, WYSE Travel Confederation’s Director General.
“I am delighted that Minister Donohoe and Carlos Vogeler will be joining me to welcome our delegates to WYSTC 2014,” said David.
“With youth travel continuing to thrive in Ireland and indeed globally, it is fitting for us to have senior representatives from Ireland and the UNWTO present to address and meet with our delegates.”
The opening session for the 23rd World Youth and Student Travel Conference will get underway at 09:00 on Wednesday, 24 September at the Convention Centre Dublin.
This session will be followed by our keynote session – The future of travel – to be presented by Filip Filipov, Head of B2B at Skyscanner.
